NCAB has developed a UK market leading position since its inception in 2010. In an over populated marketplace, we have defined ourselves and our product offering in a way where customers recognise our service, our culture, our values and our reliability.
In our industry, every electronic product needs a printed circuit board (PCB). Every application is different, each PCB unique to that application. In any electronic assembly, often the last component ordered, the first needed, and generally accepted as a critical, high risk component where reliability is often life or safety critical.
With this in mind, you would expect customers to value reliability over price. Sadly, this is generally not the case, the PCB market is fiercely competitive, over populated, and too often buyers buy, purely on price.
NCAB has a high level of loyalty from our customer base, but too often, we find our competitors targeting our running business, under-cutting us on price, attempting to erode our market share and margins.
To remedy this, we have always challenged ourselves to ask the question, â€œIf I were the customer, what would I likeâ€ and ask every member of our team to ask themselves that question, regardless of their position or job role. This has resulted in every single department, whether finance, logistics, sales, customer service, technical & quality departments, always putting the customer expectations first.
We are proud to say, our product reliability with outstanding customer service ethic wins, customers trust us, recognise our can do, will do approach, even when lower pricing is available, viewing us as a risk free supplier, delivering on-time, perfect quality, fair pricing, excellent design & quality support with a high focus on sustainability.
As an example, our MD met recently, with a corporate manager within one of our largest global customers who are a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of fire detection systems. His comment to our MD was â€œ I have 2 young children, I take much comfort knowing that the smoke detectors in their rooms have NCAB PCBs inside. It means I sleep well. If his team were to simply source the PCB as a price sensitive commodity, they could secure maybe, a 30% cost down, but his question, – what price do you place on reliability and service ?
