With the deadline to enter The Electronics Industry Awards confirmed as 30th April, the industry is being urged to act today to ensure they don’t miss out on the chance to win a prestigious prize
Entries and nominations are well underway for The Electronics Industry Awards – the premier event that celebrates the very best of the electronic components industry. Professionals have until 30th April to enter or nominate a product, company and/or individual to win an award across its vast array of Product, Business and Individual categories.
Entering is free and couldn’t be easier
Simply visit www.electronicsindustryawards.co.uk to view the full list of categories and to submit an entry or nomination using the simple online entry portal.
Subject to meeting the necessary criteria, each entry and nomination will proceed to the decision-making stage. The winners for all categories are chosen using an industry voting process, ensuring that the awards scheme offers a truly non-biased process. The online vote will take place between 7th May and 31st July and will be the sole determining factor in who wins. A shortlist of five per category will be announced once the voting has taken place.

Category spotlight
The awards will feature 20 expertly curated categories that encompass the wide range of ingenuity, hard work, and commitment at work across the electronic component supply chain. Each issue, we will highlight a handful of these categories to find out exactly what makes an entry exceptional. This month we look at the following:
PRODUCT AWARDS
Aerospace/Military/Defence Product of the Year: This award is designed to recognise the most innovative product in the aerospace/military/defence industry – putting a particular focus on outstanding performance and technical abilities.
Embedded Solution Product of the Year: This award recognises the most innovative embedded solution that showcases exceptional technical ability and performance.
Internet of Things Product of the Year: This award will be presented to a company that best demonstrates true innovation within the Internet of Things. This product should be different from anything else in the market.
BUSINESS AWARDS
Distributor of the Year: This award recognises a distributor that has achieved clear business milestones. This distributor must have exceptional customer service, an innovative product range and strong marketing initiatives.
Excellence in Innovation: This award recognises a company that has shown innovation and has made a significant impact on the market.
