Since the announcement of this year’s shortlist of finalists, excitement has continued to grow for the second annual Electronics Industry Awards. Organised by Datateam Business Media, the event returns for 2019 with the aim of celebrating the industry’s defining products, businesses and individuals that help the sector continue to shine.
After receiving a record number of entries/nominations and votes during the campaign, this year’s event is set to be bigger than anything the field has ever seen before.
With all sights now firmly set on the awards ceremony – taking place at The Tower Hotel in London on Friday 21 June 2019 – it has been revealed that stand-up comedian and best-selling author, Ian Moore will host the afternoon’s proceedings.
Ian has achieved great success on the London and National comedy circuit; he is a regular headliner at London’s famous ‘Comedy Store’. His books, ‘A La Mod’ and ‘C’est Modnifique – Adventures of an English Grump in Rural France’ are best sellers, and he features as a guest on BBC Radio 5 Live’s popular show, ‘Fighting Talk’, recurrently.
He will be joined by a ‘Voice of God’ in the form of Alan Dedicoat. As the vocal star of The National Lottery and Strictly Come Dancing, Alan has one of the most instantly recognisable and quick witted deliveries in the business. The pair will come together for this unique event to give guests lots to laugh about as they provide the afternoon’s entertainment.
The pair will also have the task of unveiling this year’s Electronics Industry Awards winners at the luncheon, in front of the hundreds of the industry professionals in attendance. Set to be an event to remember, guests will have the opportunity to network with the sector’s leading names during the lavish drinks reception and enjoy a sumptuous three-course meal, before finding out which of the worthy finalists will walk away with a trophy.
If you would like to join the hundreds that have already secured their place at the event, then there is still time. Limited tickets are available to purchase via the dedicated Awards website.
